SmallSacrifices「耶稣受难记」再次上演。一个叫RamonSilva的病人效仿耶稣受难的模样折磨自己，被送进了医院，但他拒绝接受医学治疗。House等人调查后发现，他曾向上帝发誓：只要能治好患癌症的女儿，他愿意祭献自己。他的女儿奇迹般康复，他决定履行誓言。为了挽救Silva的生命，House等人不得不深入他的内心世界去了解他虔诚的宗教信仰。与此同时，Taub质疑妻子Rachel与一个同伴（互助小组的同学）关系不纯；House的某位同事举行婚礼，所有人都到场祝贺；Wilson和Sam的关系出现意想不到的波折。
